Oklahoma City Thunder
One of the best chances for a player such as Dante Exum to get his career back on track is by joining a rebuilding team like the Oklahoma City Thunder. They usually have playing time available and at 26-years old, Exum is still young enough that he is worth putting some developmental time into as long as he is healthy.
The Thunder could provide that chance to Exum. Right now, they only have two players listed as point guards on their roster; Theo Maledon and rookie Tre Mann. Adding a third point guard would make sense and Exum could be their man.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the only sure-fire building block the Thunder has currently after agreeing to a max rookie extension, is listed as a shooting guard. He is more than capable of running the show as the point guard but is relied upon to carry the offense scoring-wise as well.
In addition to Mann, the Thunder also used a first-round pick on international guard Josh Giddey. Oklahoma City will certainly commit to developing him, but his transition could be made easier with another international player in Exum on the roster.

Both are from Australia, so there aren’t many people better equipped to show Giddey how to adjust to life coming from Australia to the NBA than Exum. This is something the Thunder could capitalize on.
