New Orleans Pelicans
Watching the New Orleans Pelicans this offseason has been a train wreck. The Pelicans let Lonzo Ball walk in exchange for Tomas Satoransky and Garrett Temple from the Chicago Bulls in a sign-and-trade.
To replace Ball, New Orleans proceeded to trade a first-round pick for Devonte’ Graham of the Charlotte Hornets in a separate sign-and-trade deal.
Despite getting Graham, that shouldn’t prevent the Pelicans from adding another point guard this offseason.
Graham does improve the shooting on the roster, but he doesn’t bring as much playmaking as you’d like to see from a starting point guard.

John Wall, even amid the injury issues he’s experienced in recent years, is still one of the best playmaking point guards in the NBA. Getting a guard that can help get easier shots for Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson should be a priority for New Orleans.
