Does this trade make sense for the Los Angeles Clippers?

The Los Angeles Clippers have re-signed Reggie Jackson and are in the process of getting a new contract with Kawhi Leonard. He is the priority of the offseason and it is close to being done. Now that Leonard is back, the Clippers can move onto their next point of emphasis. That is to decide whether they will stay put or blow things up a bit.

It was clear that Leonard was not going anywhere. He is one of the top players in the game. George, on the other hand, could be an intriguing trade piece. It would be a bit of a surprise to see this happen when considering what the Clippers were willing to give up to acquire him in the first place.

When looking at the return, the Clippers would be able to get some of the draft capital back, along with rotation-ready players. Haliburton has a chance to be the point guard of the future in Los Angeles.

This is something they have been searching for since Chris Paul left town. Both Barnes and Bagley would bring depth and experience to the lineup. Bagley is in need of a chance of scenery and could have a chance to develop with a winning team.

This is a large return and one that the Kings would at least have to think about if it is offered. The first step is to decide if they want to move George. Once that is done, teams will begin to offer and Sacramento could put together a good package.
