Sacramento Kings Receive: F Paul George
Los Angeles Clippers Receive: G Tyrese Haliburton, F Harrison Barnes, C/F Marvin Bagley III, 2022 first-round pick, 2023 first-round pick swap, 2024 first-round pick, 2026 first-round pick

Again, Paul George is not going to be traded by the Los Angeles Clippers. This is a hypothetical NBA trade scenario that would be entertaining to see take place, not one that is being discussed in talks between the Clippers and Kings.

The Clippers could benefit from adding more pieces geared toward the future in order to maximize the sustainability of their success. Keep in mind, Leonard has a concerning injury history and is 30-years-old.

The Kings would begin to build a core that can hopefully get them back to the postseason. They certainly have some assets built up to send to Los Angeles. The idea is that De’Aaron Fox had such an impressive end to the 2020-21 season that pairing him with a talent like Paul George could push the Kings forward.

A potential superstar trade package for the Kings would begin with Tyrese Haliburton, who looked like the real deal during his first season in the league. Harrison Barnes and Marvin Bagley III have been featured in plenty of NBA trade rumors and could be sent away in something like this.

Of course, the Kings would need to be prepared to part with no shortage of first-round draft selections in order to entice the Clippers into parting with one of the NBA’s elite wing players.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this NBA trade scenario centered around Paul George would impact both the Los Angeles Clippers and Sacramento Kings.
