Does this trade make sense for the Sacramento Kings?

The Sacramento Kings should be considering any option available to get back into the postseason. If Paul George is available, it is worth taking a chance. The benefit is obvious and it could help them sneak up the standings and into the postseason.

George has received plenty of criticism during his two years in Los Angeles, and some has been warranted, but not much can be said this year. He led the Clippers to the conference finals when Leonard went down with an injury and put up some big-time performances.

In a backcourt with De’Aaron Fox, George would have even more room to operate and open up his game a bit. This is a duo that would be able to play fast and would be difficult to defend.

The Kings are full of trade pieces at the moment so why not package a few together and go get a superstar? They have been quiet this offseason which makes one think that they could be planning something.

The Kings will have to make some sort of move coming up. If George ends up being available, this could be the blockbuster the franchise needs.
