1. Boston Celtics
The Boston Celtics offseason has been a busy one. They revamped the power structure in the franchise, as Brad Stevens went from head coach of the team to general manager. He took the place of Danny Ainge, with Ime Udoka taking over on the sideline.
The first move Stevens made in the front office was trading away starting point guard, Kemba Walker. They have yet to really fill that hole, as Kris Dunn was acquired, along with Bruno Fernando, in a three-team trade with the Atlanta Hawks and Sacramento Kings.
Dejounte Murray does not have the same punch on offense as Walker, but he has developed a very strong midrange game and is improving as a pick-and-roll player. His scoring average has improved each season in the NBA.
While his offense is a step below Walker, his defense is much better. He would help elevate the Celtics to one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. Should Boston hold onto Marcus Smart in this trade, he, Murray and Jaylen Brown would give the Celtics one of the best perimeter defensive trios in the league.

Murray would also give the Celtics a defensive ace to rely on should Smart leave when he hits free agency next season. Sending some combination of the young players the Celtics have, such as Romeo Langford, Payton Pritchard, Aaron Nesmith and Robert Williams III could be the start of the package. To make salaries work, Smart may have to be included in any offers as well.
