The San Antonio Spurs came into the NBA offseason with some big decisions to make. The franchise is at a crossroads, as they had to decide whether or not to enter a rebuild or retain some veterans to make a postseason run again.

San Antonio has missed the postseason in consecutive years for the first time in franchise history. But, with how the offseason has gone, it seems like they will be mostly staying the course for the 2021-22 season.

San Antonio made two selections in the 2021 NBA Draft, selecting Joshua Primo with the 12th overall pick and Joe Wieskamp 41st. In free agency, they were pretty active as well.

They signed Doug McDermott to a three-year, $42 million deal and followed that up with a three-year, $22 million deal for Zach Collins. Bryn Forbes was brought back after he spent last season with the Milwaukee Bucks and Jock Landale, who has been playing overseas, signed a two-year deal.

Veteran DeMar DeRozan was part of a sign-and-trade with the Chicago Bulls. San Antonio received Thaddeus Young, Al-Farouq Aminu, a future first-round pick and two future second-round picks in return.

Based on those moves, the San Antonio Spurs are not committing one way or the other. But, there is still time to make a major shakeup and one player that could lead to that happening is Dejounte Murray.

Murray, and Derrick White, are both reportedly ‘gettable’ this offseason and remain names to monitor in trade rumors as the 2021-22 NBA season approaches. With Primo selected and Forbes brought back, maybe the Spurs are planning on moving on from Murray.

Who could be interested in the Washington product? Here are three teams who could still pursue a trade for Dejonute Murray this offseason.
