Averages Career-High Assists Per Game
Kyle Lowry has been a consistent performer since he was able to lock down a starting job beginning in the 2010-11 season with the Houston Rockets. He has averaged at least 6.4 assists per game every season since then and turned into one of the better point guards in the NBA.
The most assists that Lowry has averaged per game in a season was 8.7 per game during the 2018-19 season when he helped lead the team to an NBA title. This season with the Heat, he will surpass that number and set a new career-high for assists per game.
This Miami team is revamped from what they looked like during the 2020-21 season. They already have a pass-heavy offense, but now have an above-average point guard running the system. That will result in some gaudy statistics being produced.
Lowry has the innate ability to make everyone around him better. The Heat already has a deep, talented roster, so he will assuredly take advantage of that when it comes to ball movement.

The team also has more players capable of spreading the court. That will open things up in the middle for Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo to operate, resulting in easier buckets and more assist totals.
