Sacramento Kings Receive: F Kyle Kuzma, G Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, F Alfonzo McKinnie
The preliminary package that has been mentioned in reports is Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Both Kuzma and Caldwell-Pope would be enough to make the financial part of the trade work.
That being said, do the Sacramento Kings believe Kuzma and Caldwell-Pope are enough to move on from Hield? As previously mentioned, the Lakers only have six players under contract, including James and Davis.
One player that is under contract that could be thrown in to sweeten the deal is Alfonzo McKinnie. McKinnie isn’t a flashy player or a starter, but he would provide some depth on the wing for Sacramento.
Over the course of his career, McKinnie has averaged only four points per game and he’s been with four different teams in four straight seasons.

With the 2021 NBA Draft around the corner, the Lakers could look to include their first-round pick in this year’s draft or a pick in the future to add Hield.
