Los Angeles Lakers Receive: G Buddy Hield
Sacramento Kings Receive: F Kyle Kuzma, G Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
Besides getting one of the premier shooters in the NBA, the Lakers would be getting a player in Hield that is under contract for three more years.
The Kings have continually expressed interest in Kuzma, and with Kuzma signing a three-year, $39 million extension last offseason, he would likely be at the center of any trade for Hield. Seeing that Hield is owed around $20 million a year over the next three seasons, the Lakers would need to include other pieces to get a deal done.
Aside from Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has been mentioned as a player that Los Angeles has been shopping to other teams this offseason.
Caldwell-Pope and Kuzma would be enough to match the money that the Lakers would be absorbing with Hield’s contract. Kuzma would give Sacramento a young wing player that could potentially reach his potential with an expanded role.

As for Caldwell-Pope, he’d replace Hield in the lineup and give the Kings championship experience in their lineup. The Lakers may need to throw in a future draft pick with Kuzma and Caldwell-Pope for the Kings to accept the offer.
