Los Angeles Clippers Receive: G Malcolm Brogdon

Indiana Pacers Receive: G Luke Kennard, G Patrick Beverley, F Daniel Oturu, 2021 first-round pick (No. 25 overall), 2022 second-round pick

The Los Angeles Clippers don’t have many young players or draft capital to offer in trades, which could limit their opportunities of landing a notable name via trade.

If Los Angeles wants to have any chance of getting an upgrade at point guard, Luke Kennard would need to be involved. Kennard was traded to the Clippers last offseason and he would proceed to sign a four-year extension with the team.

Upon the loss of Malcolm Brogdon in the trade, the Pacers could get Patrick Beverley in the trade to help replace Brogdon’s production, mainly on the defensive end.

With Kawhi Leonard sidelined for many months, Brogdon would slot in and shoulder a heavier load alongside Paul George. Once Leonard is healthy, the Clippers would have a genuinely intriguing trio that could give any team a run for its money.

To sweeten the deal, the Clippers could insert Daniel Oturu, the No. 25 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, and a future second-round pick.

There aren’t many better packages that the Los Angeles Clippers could offer for Brogdon.
