Charlotte Hornets
Kristaps Porzingis is reportedly unhappy with his role in Dallas, as a lot of the focus is on Luka Doncic. As the team’s franchise player, it makes sense. But, if Porzingis is looking for a more prominent role as the leading man, the Charlotte Hornets could provide that.
The Hornets have a face of the franchise in Rookie of the Year award winner LaMelo Ball, but they could use a bonafide scoring threat as a go-to man. Porzingis could provide that and has experience producing in such a role.
Back with the New York Knicks, prior to his knee injury, Porzingis averaged 22.7 points per game. He was coming into his own as the team’s go-to scorer, taking over that role from Carmelo Anthony, who was traded during the offseason.
Porzingis scored at least 30 points 11 times in 48 games, which he did in seven of the first nine games to begin the season. That has to be something that intrigues the Hornets.

With his improved efficiency, and the improved supporting cast he would have with the Hornets compared to those Knicks days, Porzingis could get back to those numbers that led to him making his first career All-Star team.
