The 2021 NBA Draft is set to take place on July 29 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and very soon, the Detroit Pistons will be on the clock with the first overall pick of this year’s draft!

Every year, the talk of the draft is about the top-tier talents, but every single draft through the years, we can easily look back to guys who have outplayed their draft position. 

Just this year in fact, Nikola Jokic won the league-MVP award and he was drafted 41st overall in 2014. All the time, we see guys fly under-the-radar and end up becoming stars in this league. Not just second-round guys, but even players drafted low in the first-round end up making a name for themselves!
