Sacramento Kings
Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes is looking to cash in during free agency himself. He has played himself into a multi-year deal as well with his performance the last two seasons. If he chooses to leave the Kings, they have a big hole in the middle.
Joining Holmes in free agency are the Kings’ two other centers, Hassan Whiteside and Damian Jones.
The Kings could use Marvin Bagley III at center, but given his woes defensively, that would be a mess. Instead, pairing the defensive-minded Nerlens Noel with him could make some sense.
The Kings need to improve on the defensive side of the ball in any way possible. Having an anchor as strong as Noel at the backend would help them turn around what was the worst defensive-rated team in the history of the NBA during the 2020-21 season.

While they will need more than Noel to truly turn things around on that end, it would be a nice start in changing the culture defensively with the Kings.
