Bad Fit: Charlotte Hornets

One thing is crystal clear for the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets want to give LaMelo Ball more opportunities as the primary ball handler, which could limit the usage of other plays on the roster.

Aside from Ball, Terry Rozier, Gordon Hayward, and Devonte’ Graham (if he re-signs) could all demand the ball. Also, throughout this season, we saw Miles Bridges and P.J. Washington flash upside in their development as players amid Hayward’s injury.

Given the crowded nature of Charlotte’s forward positions, Pascal Siakam wouldn’t be an ideal fit for the Hornets. Getting a player that has won a title would be fantastic for an inexperienced squad like Charlotte.

However, Siakam’s role would fluctuate game to game, which would put him in an awkward spot on a new team.

It’s best if the Hornets don’t pursue Siakam unless they are willing to rid of Hayward and/or Bridges and Washington this offseason.
