Good Fit: Golden State Warriors
Ahead of the 2021 NBA Draft, reports suggest that the Golden State Warriors could be in play for Pascal Siakam. The Warriors have James Wiseman, Andrew Wiggins, and two first-round picks to offer for Siakam.
Of course, Golden State won’t give up all of that to land Siakam, but they can create an enticing package for Toronto. And it’s hard not to see why the Warriors reportedly have interest in the versatile forward.
Being able to trade for Siakam would give Golden State an endless amount of possibilities with their starting lineup. For their small-ball lineup, they could have Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Siakam on the floor.
In all likeliness, they would have another shooter joining that lineup to create more spacing. Siakam would receive the most wide-open shots he’s ever seen in his career if he were to join the Warriors.

Besides improving Golden State’s defense immediately, Siakam’s ability to handle the ball and create his own shot — and for others — is just an added bonus.
