It is unknown what Damian Lillard plans on doing this offseason amid the changes that are taking place for the Portland Trail Blazers.

Portland has a new head coach in Chauncey Billups and the roster needs a makeover if the franchise hopes to contend for a title.

As long as Lillard remains on the Trail Blazers, Porzingis could be a perfect addition for Portland.

In all likeliness, we will see CJ McCollum traded this summer as the Trail Blazers seek a new running mate for Lillard. While Porzingis may not be a premier No. 2 option, he would fill a lot of needs on Portland’s roster.

Aside from spacing the floor as a big man — unlike Jusuf Nurkic or Enes Kanter — Porzingis can bring a presence on the defensive end that is much-needed on the Trail Blazers.
