Good Fit: Boston Celtics
Ever since it became known that Porzingis could be on his way out of Dallas, the Boston Celtics have constantly been named as a potential landing spot.
Most people conjured up trades that involved the Celtics sending Kemba Walker to the Mavericks in exchange for the Latvian big man. Even with Walker no longer in Boston, having been traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Porzingis could still wind up on the Celtics.
With Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown as the two cornerstone pieces in Boston, Porzingis wouldn’t need to be a primary scorer for the Celtics.
As for Boston, getting Porzingis would give them the best rim protector they’ve had in quite some time.
