Ayo Dosunmu
The Clippers have the No. 25 selection in this year’s draft class. Contending teams will usually shop the draft picks they have to land a player that could help them win immediately. But, if the Clippers keep this pick for themselves, Ayo Dosunmu would present a great prospect to target.
Dosunmu had a great career for the Fighting Illini, improving in each of his three seasons with the school. He could be an intriguing developmental option alongside Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
His efficiency offensively is the one thing that truly stands out, as Dosunmu finished his junior season averaging 20.1 points on 48.8 percent from the field, 39 percent from the 3-point line and 78.3 percent from the foul line.
His playmaking, which the Clippers could use more of, jumped his junior season as well. After averaging 3.3 assists per game as both a freshman and sophomore, he jumped up to 5.5 per game as a junior.

Standing 6’5”, Dosunmu can play both spots in the backcourt, which will be important defensively. He has a plus wingspan of 6’10.25” and gets after it defensively. His rebounding was also at an elite level for a point guard during his time in college.
