Golden State Warriors Receive: G Zach LaVine and G Tomas Satoransky

Chicago Bulls Receive: F Andrew Wiggins, No. 7 pick, No. 14 pick and 2023 first-round

The Chicago Bulls decided to hold onto Zach LaVine at the NB trade deadline but that could change if they get a big offer this offseason. This would be one of the better options out there for the Warriors to pursue. He would bring a new dynamic along the perimeter, along with Tomas Satoransky.

In return, Chicago would get Andrew Wiggins and draft capital. Wiggins has been Golden State’s biggest trade piece since last offseason. After a strong season alongside Stephen Curry and another year of his large contract off the books, it’s safe to say that his trade value is higher now.

The Warriors hold two picks in the first round of the 2021 NBA Draft and they could be looking to move them for another star in the lineup. LaVine could be that star that fits right into the system next season.

There isn’t time to waste for the Warriors given how Stephen Curry is still playing at an MVP level. With Klay Thompson returning to the lineup and Draymond Green having another elite defensive season, the time to make a splash move via trade is now.

In the Western Conference, it’s difficult to envision the Warriors being unable to make noise after acquiring LaVine. Assuming that Thompson can re-enter the lineup and stay on the floor, there’s a lot to like about what Golden State could accomplish.

Let’s take a look and see how this NBA trade scenario centered around Zach LaVine would impact both the Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors.
