The Chicago Bulls decided to keep their stars in town at the NBA trade deadline and become buyers. This went against the opinion of many out there who thought they would be big sellers. This is a chance for them to continue to build assets but they would have to move a big name.

Zach LaVine would be that name being sent away. There has been a sense that LaVine could be the player to build around but he would also warrant the biggest return. He has quickly turned into one of the best scorers in the game and he has built his game to that level in Chicago.

Lauri Markkanen is another name being thrown around in rumors but he could remain in the lineup with Nikola Vucevic. They acquired him at the deadline in a blockbuster deal with the Orlando Magic. This showed that the Bulls are interested in competing right away.

Another team interested in winning now is the Golden State Warriors. They have been derailed by injuries over the last two years and this has held them back from winning. Stephen Curry returned this season and led the league in scoring while shooting 43% from three-point range.
