Terrence Ross
Finding more shooters needs to be the main priority for the Lakers this offseason after finishing as the 21st team in the NBA in three-point percentage.
Los Angeles was the second-worst team in three-point efficiency to make the playoffs (only the Washington Wizards were worse). In light of that, Terrence Ross of the Orlando Magic is a player that should be of interest to the Lakers this offseason.
Ross has been stuck in Orlando for the past four seasons, operating as the team’s sixth-man off of the bench. The former eighth-overall pick of the Toronto Raptors is a streaky scorer that can get hot at times.
I think of Terrence Ross as a souped-up version of Caldwell-Pope, so the Lakers would probably take a liking to Ross as a player. Over the past three seasons, Ross has averaged 14+ points per game and is shooting a modest 36.2 percent from beyond the arc in that same timespan while taking 6.8 threes per game.

Even though Terrence Ross wouldn’t be the flashiest acquisition, he would definitely bring more shooting to the Lakers.
