Does this trade make sense for the Miami Heat?
The Miami Heat has a history of making some huge moves in order to compete for championships. This is a team that seems to always be in win-now mode and will do whatever it takes to remain near the top of the East. They were not there this season, which is why it is likely there are some who were made.
The question remains, who will they go after? Giannis Antetokounmpo was always near the top of the list before he signed a massive extension with the Bucks.
Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal are other names that you will see in NBA trade rumors. It just remains to be seen if either of those options will even be attainable, let alone other players of that caliber.
This NBA trade scenario would go a difference direction and would land the Heat a strong scorer in D’Angelo Russell. He has shown that he can get it done at all three levels and carry a team when needed. Given Miami’s struggles to put up big offensive numbers, it would be a welcomed addition.

Landing in Miami will only give Russell more opportunity. Playing with Butler and Adebayo would open up room for all three players on the offensive end of the floor.
