New York Knicks organization owes it to him

At the end of the day, the NBA is a business and no one is owed anything. But, in this circumstance, the New York Knicks owe it to Carmelo Anthony to have him wear the orange and blue one last time and for a winning team nonetheless.

During his 6.5 seasons with the organization, Anthony was front and center as a pinata for the media and he never backed down. He showed up night in and night out, battling through some injuries and taking everything they threw at him.

Carmelo Anthony was wrongly made out to be the scapegoat for the organization’s shortcomings, which we have seen play out in real-time that other factors were playing a part in the struggles.

It would be a coming full-circle moment for Anthony and the Knicks if he ends his career with the team on a high note.
