Carmelo Anthony isn’t afraid of the bright lights

There haven’t been many stars willing to take on the bright lights of Madison Square Garden. Carmelo Anthony was not afraid of the challenge and that kind of mindset is something the team needs more of.

It is a challenge that RJ Barrett and Julius Randle are taking head-on now, as well. However, they have not yet conquered the playoffs in a New York Knicks uniform, something Anthony did virtually by himself most of his tenure in Gotham.

During the postseason this year, only Derrick Rose produced consistently for the Knicks. Having another player on the roster with vast playoff experience as Anthony has can only help the team.

Anthony has also been lauded as being a great teammate. He would provide a strong locker room presence as he knows what it takes to get the job done in New York City.
