Derrick Rose could mentor Coby White
The Chicago Bulls have a young point guard in Coby White. He improved in his second season in the NBA, as his numbers increased across the board while he was given more minutes. However, he could use a mentor and Derrick Rose would be a perfect fit for that role.
There aren’t many players better equipped to teach a young guard how to handle playing the position for the Bulls than Rose.
Rose has done it all, as he was the franchise icon, a presumed veteran that couldn’t do it anymore and now a bonafide sixth man. He has a wealth of knowledge that he can bestow upon White, which would help his development.
Rose has also been praised for the work he has done with the younger players in his previous stops. With the Knicks, he took Immanuel Quickley, another young guard, and Obi Toppin under his wings upon his arrival and both were thankful for that.

Rose can easily have the same impact on White should the Bulls pursue a reunion with him. The two would form a dynamic scoring duo, much like Rose and Quickley did in New York.
