Point guard is the team’s biggest need
Heading into the offseason, arguably the biggest need for the Chicago Bulls is a point guard. Derrick Rose just so happens to be a point guard available this summer in NBA free agency.
While Rose, at 33-years old, probably isn’t an ideal option to be the starter full-time, would certainly shore up the position for the Bulls.
If his stint with the Knicks proved anything, it is that he still has plenty of gas left in the tank. He would be an excellent addition to the team as the sixth man, as the team could look elsewhere in free agency, with someone such as Lonzo Ball, to be the starter for the team.
However, prying Rose away from New York will be easier said than done. He has spoken about how much he enjoys playing in New York City and his comfortability with Tom Thibodeau is something it will be difficult for the Bulls or any team that pursues him, to match.

Alas, while it may be a tall task, it is still one the Bulls should attempt to conquer.
