Montrezl Harrell
The Charlotte Hornets pursued Montrezl Harrell last offseason coming off his Sixth Man of the Year award-winning season. He ultimately turned down their offer and signed with the Los Angeles Lakers for less money.
Not to be deterred, the Hornets tried again during the season to acquire Harrell before the trade deadline, but to no avail. Could the third time be the charm for the Hornets?
Montrezl Harrell has a $9.7 million option for the 2020-21 season. If he decides to opt-in, Charlotte could once again pursue him in a trade.
While Harrell leaves much to be desired defensively, he would be a great fit schematically for the Hornets. A rim-running big man would fit in well alongside Ball and Harrell would fit that bill.

This is a pairing that would work well, as Charlotte would provide Montrezl Harrell a chance to rehab his value after an up and down season with the Lakers.
