Myles Turner

Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner has been on the trade block for a while now. His fit alongside All-Star Domantas Sabonis has been a clunky one and Indiana has considered splitting them up. If that comes to fruition, the Charlotte Hornets should pursue acquiring Turner.

Turner is the exact kind of big man that the Hornets need. While they have plenty of explosive scoring options, they are lacking in defensive-minded players.

He would help balance out their roster, as Myles Turner would anchor their defense as he is one of the best shot blockers in the league.

Offensively, he would offer value with his ability to knock down 3-pointers. It would be a big improvement over Zeller and Biyombo, as neither offered much in the way of floor spacing or rim protection.

If the Hornets make one deal this offseason, it needs to be for a big man and Myles Turner should be atop that wish list.
