Prediction: Signs with Los Angeles Lakers

Another team in need of a point guard this summer is the Los Angeles Lakers. Following a first-round exit in the playoffs, the Lakers are prepared to make some tweaks to the roster this offseason.

With Dennis Schroder possibly pricing himself out of Los Angeles, the Lakers need to find someone that can be a solid replacement. While he isn’t the player he once was, Derrick Rose would be a perfect signing for Los Angeles.

Rose has shown in recent seasons that he’s worked tirelessly to evolve into an efficient scorer on the offensive end. The veteran point guard shot 41.1 percent from beyond the arc in his 35 regular-season games with the Knicks this season.

Then, in New York’s playoff series versus the Atlanta Hawks, he contributed 19.4 points and five assists per game while knocking down 47.1 percent of his outside shots.

With Rose proving that he can be an efficient spot-up shooter, he would be a perfect fit alongside LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
