Golden State Warriors Receive: F Pascal Siakam, C Chris Boucher
Toronto Raptors Receive: C James Wiseman, F Andrew Wiggins, MIN 2021 1st Round Pick (Pick #7), GSW 2021 1st Round Pick (Pick #14)
This final trade proposal is very similar to the first trade proposal in which the Raptors traded Siakam and Baynes to the Warriors in exchange for Wiggins, Wiseman and their two lottery picks this year, but instead of Aron Baynes, the Raptors would trade Chris Boucher in this scenario.
Boucher went undrafted in 2017 and actually got his start at the NBA-level with the Warriors after playing for them in Summer League and on the G-League affiliate Santa Cruz Warriors team. He did not play much at all for the Warriors during the 2017-18 season, but he did win a championship with them that season.
After he was let go by Golden State the following offseason, he signed with the Toronto Raptors and has made a name for himself since. The 2020-21 season was Chris Boucher’s third season in Toronto and the best of his career, as he averaged 13.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and shot 38.3% from three-point range in 60 games, 46 of which he entered the game off-the-bench.
The young big man has evolved into much more than a lengthy, athletic forward and he has come into his own as a “3-and-D” stretch center. He is the exact kind of player the Warriors would love to pair with Draymond Green in the frontcourt, which makes you wonder why they did not keep him in the first place.

This may be too much value for the Raptors to give up, even though they are still receiving James Wiseman, Andrew Wiggins and two first-round picks. Boucher has been a perfect fit in their system and is one of the young talents they want to build with, which is why they could look to keep him and pair him with Wiseman if they are to trade Siakam to the Warriors.
Golden State is going to be looking to make a big move this summer to get back to their championship ways and based on the way things are trending right now, it seems like Pascal Siakam is the best fit for them to do so. Will they look to pull off one of this offseason’s biggest moves?
