Does this trade make sense for the Miami Heat?

The Miami Heat could be looking to replenish assets right away. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo need a more balanced lineup around them and this is what could happen if they make a trade. Miami would land some draft capital along with a player like Eric Gordon, who could help right away.

Gordon would be able to contribute to a win-now team better than he is in Houston. The Heat are looking to return to their ways of contending for a championship.

If Duncan Robinson leaves in NBA free agency, which is possible given his worth, the Heat could look for some more prowess from three-point range. Of course, Miami could look to match any offer for the soon-to-be restricted free agent, but are they willing to match any offer?

This is where Gordon would help, along with bringing some valuable experience in the postseason. Miami would also be able too replenish some young assets with the draft picks they would receive.
