Does this trade make sense for the Orlando Magic?

Like we said before, a team could grow impatient with a draft pick if they are unable to stay healthy. This has been the case with Jonathan Isaac with the Orlando Magic. They could look to continue the rebuild by sending them away. If the return is anything like they would get from Sacramento, this deal is a no-brainer.

Marvin Bagley III has not been able to get comfortable in Sacramento and could benefit from a larger role in Orlando. This would be the Magic’s replacement big man for Isaac.

They would also get another draft pick, which would be their third in the top 10. Orlando was a big seller at the deadline but could look to rebuild and replenish quickly. They are getting Markelle Fultz back from injury while Cole Anthony has looked like a solid player during his rookie season.

The Magic would have some decisions to make at the center position. Wendell Carter Jr. and Mo Bamba are already in the fold. Moving on from two bigs at a later point is a real possibility. The main appeal would be the No. 9 selection, not Bagley III.

This is a chance for the Magic to continue to add players to balance out the lineup. It will be interesting to see which direction Orlando goes once the postseason is complete.
