Does this trade make sense for the Atlanta Hawks?

The Atlanta Hawks are having a nice taste of success this season and that could persuade the front office even further to make some big moves. This is certainly a blockbuster deal that would keep the Hawks trending in the right direction. Ingram would bring a new dynamic to the team and give Atlanta a big three — or a dynamic duo depending on how negotiations go with Collins.

That is another intriguing part of this deal. If John Collins does not sign with the Hawks in the offseason, they will have to look elsewhere for that star next to Trae Young. Ingram would fit that bill right away. He has taken huge steps forward over the years and has turned into an elite scorer.

Brandon Ingram can take over a game on the offensive end of the floor and do it from all three levels. This would space the floor a bit more for Young and give him more room to operate. The two would coexist well within the offense because of this.

The Hawks are set up well for the future already but that can continue further with a deal such as this one. It will be interesting to see how the front office handles this offseason after success in the playoffs.
