Outside of Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, the rest of the players on the Heat shouldn’t be untouchable this offseason.

There has always been talks that Miami could bring in Leonard, but the two-time Finals MVP elected to join the Clippers before last season. The talks of Leonard possibly signing with the Heat could grow louder if the Clippers sputter in the playoffs again.
What isn’t there to like about joining the Miami Heat if you are Kawhi Leonard. The weather is nice year round, the Eastern Conference is an easier path to the NBA Finals right now, and he gets two stars next to him in Butler and Adebayo.
Having a big three in the Eastern Conference is not something many teams can say they have besides the Philadelphia 76ers and the Brooklyn Nets. For the Heat to have room for Leonard financially, they could move on from Goran Dragic and Andre Iguodala, which would create around $34 million in cap space.
If the Clippers would want a sign-and-trade for Leonard, then moving Tyler Herro, Kendrick Nunn, or Duncan Robinson in the deal could be a possibility.
