The Memphis Grizzlies surprised some people this NBA season, ending a three-year playoff drought after a 38-34 regular season. Memphis earned that playoff berth as well, as they had to defeat the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors in the play-in games to earn their spot.
The Grizzlies took Game 1 in their first-round series against the Utah Jazz, but ultimately lost the series 4-1. They showed heart and toughness throughout the series, as they are on a great path to becoming contenders in the Western Conference.
