The Spurs could use some help in their frontcourt. Power forward, specifically, could be atop their board this summer. Gregg Popovich got creative and was using DeRozan at power forward, flanking him with some of the Spurs’ younger players such as Dejounte Murray, Keldon Johnson and Derrick White.

Bobby Portis would help fill the void at power forward. He has had an incredible season off the bench for the Milwaukee Bucks and will get a hefty raise this offseason.

With as much money as San Antonio has at their disposal, they can be players for virtually anyone they want in NBA free agency. While Bobby Portis may not be atop anyone’s list, he’s a quality player that would certainly help.

Bobby Portis would give the frontcourt some scoring punch and stretch the floor, something they had received for years from LaMarcus Aldridge. The former Arkansas product would be a good fit given the versatility he would provide in the frontcourt.
