Chicago Bulls
Ahead of the trade deadline this season, the Chicago Bulls went all-in, making a move for Nikola Vucevic of the Orland Magic. The Bulls figured that a duo of Zach LaVine and Vucevic would be enough to lead the team back to the playoffs for the first time since the 2016-2017 season. Despite the efforts from the front office, LaVine had a run-in with COVID-19 near the end of the season, leaving Chicago shorthanded as they fought for a shot in the play-in tournament.

The good news for the Bulls is that their duo of LaVine and Vucevic are both under contract for the upcoming season. But if Chicago wants to take that next step in clinching a spot in the playoffs, they need more firepower in their lineup.
Patrick Williams flashed potential in his rookie season, and Coby White has had spurts of success early in his career. However, it still seems as if the Bulls are a few pieces away from being a true playoff squad.
One piece that could boost the roster would be Draymond Green. The amount of off-ball opportunities for LaVine would drastically increase as he’s improved as a shooter, and the pick-and-roll with Green working with LaVine/Vucevic would be lethal. Getting a player with a championship pedigree like Green could be exactly what Chicago needs to take the next step, and possibly convince LaVine to remain a member of the Bulls for the future.
