Charlotte Hornets
The Charlotte Hornets were among the teams in the Eastern Conference to earn a shot in the play-in tournament to conclude the regular season. To finish on a disappointing note, the Hornets were blown out by the Indiana Pacers in the play-in tournament, sending them home packing. But not all is lost for Charlotte as they had plenty of positive developments occur during the regular season.

LaMelo Ball looked like a star in the making in his rookie season, averaging 15.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game at 19 years old. He would also record a 50.4 effective field goal percentage, showing his improved shooting from beyond the arc. Besides Ball, the Hornets saw positive growth from Miles Bridges and P.J. Washington, which is good news for the franchise moving forward.
Even with the younger players blossoming this season, Charlotte is void of experience outside of Terry Rozier and Gordon Hayward. Seeing how the Hornets saw their season come to an end, they could use an enforcer in the front court like Draymond Green to bolster the roster.
The addition of Green would also give Charlotte someone that can operate the offense, relieving some pressure off of Rozier and Ball.
