Ideal Trade Target: Bradley Beal

Ahh, yes, Bradley Beal has had his mentioned in trade talks in what seems like a century, but the whispers have grown louder in recent seasons. Multiple teams have inquired about Beal’s availability, only to be shut down by the Washington Wizards in cursory fashion. Beal also continues to make it clear that he would love to remain in the nation’s capital.

But at some point in his career, Beal has to realize that his abilities could be of better use somewhere else, right? The Wizards aren’t going to be able to put together a roster that can contend for a title anytime soon.

The Florida product is also entering his prime, and he’s coming off arguably the best season of his career. Therefore, he shouldn’t continue wasting years in Washington if his true goal is to secure a ring.

As for the Heat, they have a championship pedigree that should entice Beal to alter his thinking on the matter. Besides being able to get rid of his winter clothes, Beal would be joining an organization that always has their sights on winning a title. He’ll also have an opportunity to play for one of the best coaches in the NBA in Erik Spoelstra.
