The Bucks need to rely on Jrue Holiday moving into the next round
With the Bucks in command of this series, it is time for them to start looking ahead and getting ready for what seems to be one of the matchups in the year against the Brooklyn Nets. Milwaukee is going to be underdogs in this series against the Nets, should both teams advance, but the one thing that sets the Bucks apart is that they have Jrue Holiday.
Not only is he one of the best defense guards in the league, but Holiday is one of the most undervalued and underrated stars of this league. Whether it was in New Orleans or Milwaukee, he has been one of the most consistent guards in the league year-in and year-out and he has played great in this series against Miami.

In three games, Holiday has averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 10.0 assists and has shot 52.5% from the floor in about 35.6 minutes per game. The 30-year-old point guard has been fantastic for the Bucks this season and he is going to need to continue being the “swiss-army-knife” that he is moving forward for Milwaukee.
Donte DiVincenzo went down with a foot injury in Game 3 and it was reported Friday afternoon that he had suffered a major foot injury that will keep him out for the remainder of the playoffs. Now, not only does this mean guys like Bryn Forbes, PJ Tucker and Jeff Teague will have to step up in the second-unit, but Jrue Holiday is going to have to be that much better too!
Whether it is crashing the glass or finding his open teammates for assists, Jrue Holiday is going to have to continue filling up the stats sheet if the Bucks are to achieve their goals of making the NBA Finals. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton are also key for this team, but if Jrue Holiday does not play well, this team has no shot at winning moving forward.
