Miami Heat could have really used a healthy Victor Oladipo in this series
This is kind of self-explanatory, but in Game 3 especially, it was very clear that the Heat were missing a player like Victor Oladipo. When they made the move for him at the NBA trade deadline, they did so after falling short on getting a deal done with Toronto for Kyle Lowry.
The Heat wanted to add Oladipo to their roster ahead of the playoffs because they felt like they were really missing a lot of offensive production in their NBA Finals run last year, which was one of the ultimate reasons why they fell short of beating the Lakers in the championship.

Jimmy Butler is going to do his thing and get his points, as is Bam Adebayo, but everybody else on this roster is a major question mark. Goran Dragic stepped up in Games 1 and 2, scoring 25 and 18 points respectively, but in Game 3, he only had 8 points on 3-14 shooting.
Miami really needed that third, reliable scorer in Game 3 at home, yet nobody stepped up to aid Butler and Adebayo, resulting in the team only shooting 37.6% from the floor and just 28.1% from three-point range.
Now, the Bucks deserve a lot of credit for the way they have defended Miami and forced them out of their tempo, but Miami just does not look like they care. There is no sense of urgency from this team and after going down 2-0 and going back home, you would think they would have a “fire” under them, no pun intended, but that simply was not the case.
This team looks burned out and they look like they are ready for the season to end, which very much could happen Saturday afternoon when they take on the Bucks in Game 4.
