Bring Kent Bazemore back on a minimum deal

Signing Kent Bazemore went a little bit unnoticed last offseason and this signing has worked out in the Warriors’ favor. The veteran wing has stepped up in big moments for the Warriors all season long and has carved out a role in the starting rotation with Kelly Oubre Jr. being sidelined with a wrist injury.

On the season, the 31-year-old Bazemore has averaged 7.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.6 assists and has shot 41.1% from three-point range. He is not a guy that will be a high-level scoring threat, but Bazemore is a steady presence on both ends of the court and he knows his role with this team.

Given his leadership abilities and small price contractually, keeping Bazemore on another one-year minimum deal would be a great move for the Warriors, but who knows if he wants to pursue a larger contract or not.

The Warriors do not have much talent on the wing and with Oubre Jr. likely being gone and not much cap space to replace him, bringing back Kent Bazemore would make a ton of sense, especially given his connection with this team and fan base.
