Washington Wizards
The Wizards have been one of the early teams linked to Moese Moody. They have also been linked in some blockbuster trades that can officially put them in full rebuild mode. Washington has some big-name players in their lineup but still remain outside of the postseason picture in the Eastern Conference. They are beginning to get hot but it might be too little too late.
Washington sent John Wall away in the offseason. They acquired Russell Westbrook to pair with Bradley Beal in the backcourt. This did not workout right away. Both players could be moved in the offseason and the Wizards would get back huge returns.

When they are on the clock on draft night, the Wizards could be interested in the best player available. That might be Moody by the time they are ready to pick. If they do make a move involving one of their stars, Moody could be the replacement in the backcourt. He will enter the league and compete for a starting job right away.
The Wizards have quickly turned into one of the worst franchises in the league. They have some work to do before they get back to relevance and this could be one of the moves to get them closer.
