This year’s draft class is very “top heavy,” but one of the best prospects in this draft class that stands out is Cade Cunningham. Since the time he came out of high school and committed to play at Oklahoma State, Cunningham has been deemed the best prospect in the 2021 NBA Draft class and for good reason.
The 6’8” point guard was ranked #2 on the 2020 ESPN Top 100, behind Jalen Green who decided to play in the G-League, and all season long in college, he was consistently one of the best players in the nation.

In 27 games with Oklahoma State this season, Cade Cunningham averaged 20.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and shot 43.8% from the floor, 40.0% from three-point range. Not only was he named the Big-12 Freshman of the Year, but he took home the honors for Big-12 Player of the Year and was named a consensus All-American.
Given his length, versatility and offensive skill-set, Cade Cunningham is one of the top 2021 NBA Draft prospects and as a result, has a very strong chance to be this year’s #1 overall pick, regardless of who is picking first overall.
