Does this trade make sense for the Chicago Bulls?

Chicago has been searching for answers on how to potentially get back to the “Glory Days” for a while now, and while getting Nikola Vucevic definitely pushes them in the right direction, the Bulls are still a long ways away from being a true championship-level threat.

With Tomas Satoransky and Ryan Arcidiacono under contract through next season, as well as Zach LaVine starting to turn into a primary ball-handler type of player, the Bulls could definitely get away with trading Coby White. Getting Cam Reddish would definitely be a huge addition for the Bulls because of his versatility and ability to be an effective two-way player on the wing.

Patrick Williams and Troy Brown Jr. are set to be the only wings on the Bulls roster entering the offseason and with them being one of the league’s better perimeter shooting teams, shooting 37.1% from three-point range on the year, Cam Reddish would fit right in with their style of play.

With LaVine being the focal point of the Bulls’ backcourt and Nikola Vucevic now being the focal point of their frontcourt, they do not really need a score-first type of guard like Coby White. It definitely helps to have him in their second-unit, but leveraging him for a young, talented wing like Cam Reddish definitely makes a ton of sense. A move of this kind could be something to watch in NBA trade rumors.

Not to mention, the Bulls would also receive two future second-round picks in this deal. They would probably be more than happy to substitute these two second-round picks for one first-round pick, but nonetheless, the Bulls do get a fair amount of value in this deal that can help them continue to grow into something special in the Eastern Conference.
