Trevor Ariza – F – Free Agent
Trevor Ariza sat out the first-half of the season due to personal reasons, but since the Heat acquired him in late-March, he has been a key role player for them. In 9 games with Miami this year, Ariza has averaged 7.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists and is shooting 33.8% from the floor.
At 35-years-old, Trevor Ariza is still an effective role player that can impact the game on both ends of the court, which is why he is worth a minimum contract by the Warriors. Losing Andre Iguodala last season definitely hurt both the Warriors organization and their fans because of everything he could do for this team.
Ariza can play a very similar role because of his leadership abilities and the fact that he is a proven veteran player on the wing. Being a backup to Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green could really be a great position for Ariza not only because he can still be an impactful role player, but because of the impact he can have on some of the younger players in the locker room.
The veteran wing has been through a lot in his career and has constantly had to try and re-prove himself to stay in the league. He has that “grit” and “tenacity” to him that not many players in the league today have, which is why he would be a great addition to Golden State.

The perseverance he has had over the course of his now 17-year playing career is quite remarkable and with an experienced team like the Warriors, he could be a key piece to yet another championship puzzle.
