New York Knicks Receive: G Bradley Beal
Washington Wizards Receive: G Immanuel Quickley, F Kevin Knox II, DAL 2021 1st Round Pick, NYK 2022 1st Round Pick (Swap, More Favorable), NYK 2023 1st Round Pick, NYK 2024 1st Round Pick (Swap, More Favorable), NYK 2025 1st Round Pick
Entering the offseason, the Knicks are going to have just six players under contract should they pick up the team options for R.J. Barrett, Kevin Knox II and Mitchell Robinson. They have plenty of cap space to be able to bring in a superstar talent via trade or through free agency and they have plenty of draft assets to pull off a blockbuster deal like the one above.
This is likely what it is going to take for any team to pry Bradley Beal away from the Washington Wizards, much like the deal that sent Anthony Davis to the Los Angeles Lakers two summers ago. In that deal, the Lakers gave up Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and three first-round picks for Davis.
While the Knicks have built a fantastic group of young players and have a chance to continue drafting more high-level prospects over the next few seasons, players like Bradley Beal do not come around everyday and he could change the landscape of the New York Knicks for decades to come.

Historically, the Knicks are one of the premier franchises in the league, but they have been run into the ground by their owner James Dolan over the years. With new management that finally cares about this franchise and a fantastic head coach in Tom Thibodeau, the Knicks are finally back on-track and could quickly become a championship contending team with Bradley Beal, Julius Randle and R.J. Barrett leading this team.
Not to mention, the Knicks would still have enough cap space to sign another high-level talent, potentially a player like DeMar DeRozan, to a max-contract. The New York Knicks are in a very favorable position, which is why they need to make a big move like trading for Bradley Beal.
Not only could this move elevate them into championship contention, but it would give them the best chance for success over the next several seasons. With that said, let’s take a look at how this trade would make sense for both teams and what it would mean for the Wizards and Knicks moving forward.
