De’Aaron Fox – Sacramento Kings
While the Kings have drawn a ton of criticism over the years and have been “bottom-feeders” in the NBA for years now, De’Aaron Fox has single-handedly carried the Kings to this point in the season and currently has them just a game behind the Warriors for the 10-seed in the Western Conference.
After signing a five-year, $163M max contract-extension in the offseason, De’Aaron Fox has improved drastically as a player and is turning the Kings into a team to watch down the stretch. Fox has been putting up insane numbers over the month of March and over his last four games, he is averaging 36.8 points per game and shooting 64% from the floor!
Over the course of the month of March, De’Aaron Fox is averaging 30.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 6.9 assists and is shooting 53.4% from the floor, carrying the Kings back into the playoff picture in the Western Conference.

After going on a 9-game losing skid ahead of the All-Star break this year, the Kings have won 7 of their last 10 games and could definitely be a team that has a chance to make the playoffs this year through one of the play-in games.
Sacramento has not been to the playoffs since 2006, the longest active playoff drought in the NBA. If De’Aaron Fox is able to continue playing at a high-level and putting up video game-like numbers, then the Kings will not only be in the playoffs, but De’Aaron Fox will become a Kings legend. The future is very bright for Sacramento and their young star.
