Lonzo Ball – New Orleans Pelicans
Lonzo Ball has long been a trade target of the Chicago Bulls and while the Pelicans seem to have settled down on taking offers for the young point guard, the Bulls should be “all-in” on trying to acquire him at the NBA trade deadline this year.
Lonzo Ball is having one of the best seasons of his career and with his versatility to play with or without the basketball in his hands, he could be exactly the type of player the Bulls need to solidify their playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Through 38 games, the former #2 overall pick is averaging 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 5.6 assists, 1.3 steals and is shooting a career-high 38.5% from three-point range.
Zach LaVine does everything for the Chicago Bulls and does not have any help whatsoever. The rest of their young core are still growing as players and still have a lot of development to do, which is why bringing in Lonzo Ball to be the main facilitator on the court would be extremely beneficial to this team. Not to mention, Lonzo Ball is only 23-years old and can be the point guard of this team moving forward.

This organization is not far off from being a legit playoff team in the Eastern Conference, but they are going to need to find more reliable talent to put around Zach LaVine because he cannot carry this team on his own.
Coby White is a young combo-guard with a ton of talent, but with his ability to play off-the-ball, there should not be any major problems with bringing in Lonzo Ball. With Ball, LaVine and White in the backcourt, the Bulls would have three really solid young players that they could grow with and lock-in their playoff spot with this year.
